Located on the “arrogantly shabby” Pawleys Island, the Pelican Inn is a charming bed and breakfast built in the 1840s. All guest rooms are air-conditioned, there is direct beach access, and a private dock over the salt marsh is perfect for viewing sunsets and throwing out crab traps.
