We're deep in season prep mode at The Pelican - scrubbing, staging, stocking, fluffing pillows, rearranging things twice, and somewhere in between all of it, laughing more than we probably should be. This is the part of the year that doesn't make it onto a highlight reel, but honestly? We love it just as much as the season itself.
There's something about the energy of getting this place ready that reminds us why we do what we do. Every freshly made bed, every stocked shelf, every small detail we obsess over, it's all done with you in mind. Because when you walk through that door, we want you to feel it. The warmth, the ease, the sense that someone genuinely cared about the space you're stepping into.
Our team is back together, and if you know anything about us, you know that means good work and even better company. This place runs on heart, and right now, it is absolutely full of it.
We've spent the off-season hosting weddings, retreats, and family gatherings, watching this Inn hold space for some truly meaningful moments.
But there's nothing quite like the rhythm of a full season. The morning conversations over breakfast, the guests who come back year after year, the new faces that we somehow feel like we've known forever. That's what we're gearing up for. That's what gets us out of bed in the morning.
Memorial Day weekend, we open our doors, and after a long off-season of dreaming, planning, and plenty of prep days just like this one, we genuinely cannot wait to welcome you back.
