Behind the Scenes

We hope you had a lovely Easter (a little Easter surprise below)! As we get closer to being just a month out from opening our doors for the season, we thought it might be fun to share some photos behind-the-scenes of our Inn. The photos below are of spaces not open to guests, but are truly the heart of the home.

The hub and center of most homes is the kitchen, and there's no exception here at The Pelican. Most of the time, the space is being used to prep food for guests that day, and meals for the following day. We have learned to create synchronicity in the way we dance through our chores and to-do lists.

Our Inn is booked throughout the off-season by folks tying the knot, yoga retreats and family reunions. This is the time of the year where we begin to take back our space and hone in on our systems to ensure everything runs smoothly when we open the doors at the end of May. Our staff is family and we are excited to welcome them back and get to work… with lots of laughter!
